The plastic nut is one way to adjust the headlight aim, but this requires removing the headlight to access the nut. However, if you look down from the top of the headlight, you'll notice a funnel-shaped hole that goes directly to the teeth
Auto HB is doable, I did mine, not sure of coding on MK4.5 though, you can't do it by drop down "enable" options alone, you have to code camera and steering column modules. Search FORScan forum, someone will have done it by now. ACC, as mentioned, requires Radar and the switches on the steering wheel coding.
